The Mixed Triples saw Tony Walker, Steve Inglis and Jill Nobbs go into an early lead but after 8 ends Jan Phillips, Mark Ivory and Alan Phillips had levelled up at 6-6. This looked like it was going to be another nail biter, but it was not to be as Jill’s team, and in particular Steve, played some great shots to take the match 18-10. It seems quite fitting that our longest serving Member Jill, should win a Club Championship Trophy in what could be our final year at the Inn on the Green.
