Another excellent turnout from the Javea Green
players, saw 5 of our teams enter the El Cid Direkt
Optik sponsored 321, with 3 finishing amongst the
prizes! The eventual winners, after four matches,
were the team of Alan Phillips with Dee and Keith
Hamilton who won by a 2 point margin and a plus 40
shot difference. In second place was the team of
Tony Walker with Carol and Dudley Davies and in
fourth place we had Jill Nobbs, Niel Roake and Dave
Gardiner. All 3 teams were a credit to Javea Green
and bowled extremely well in the challenging heat
conditions. A special mention goes to Tony who
won all 4 of his singles matches.
At the Presentation our Captain, Keith Hamilton,
thanked Direkt Optik for their sponsorship and El
Cid for organising such a brilliant competition. He
also thanked all the players, especially those from
visiting Clubs, for supporting the event.
