DAVID BELL, MATT TAYLOR, ANDREW TURNER, DEE HAMILTON AND JONATHAN BARR
After two days of fabulous bowling, the Turner Insurance Drawn Aussie Pairs was won by David Bell and Matt Taylor. The first day saw the 4 Leagues keenly contested, with the winning teams progressing to the semi-final stage. Bill Barrie and Graham Marshall took on David and Matt but had two disastrous ends, dropping 10 shots in the process, and went down 14-3. The other semi-final was a much tighter affair and finished tied at 5-5. In the one end play off Dee Hamilton and Jonathan Barr managed to hold the shot advantage to beat Alan Travers and Norman Richardson. The final was played in front of an enthusiastic crowd who saw David and Matt continue their magnificent form to win their sixth match on the trot by 9 shots to 3.
